Marc Roberson graduated with an undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Miami University in 2010 and went on to earn a Master’s in Criminal Justice - Analysis of Criminal Behavior from the University of Cincinnati in 2015.
Professionally, he retired from the Air National Guard in 2025 after first enlisting in 2004. He is financially focused and the town’s budget is his top priority. Specifically, he believes local government should accomplish three basic things: 1) run a budget surplus 2) lower your taxes in any way possible and 3) stay out of it’s citizens lives. Additionally, Marc believes that property taxes continue to pose an imminent threat to prosperity and security. As such, he WILL work to discuss solutions to lower or reduce them as much as possible by, instead, using sales tax revenue which he would like to highlight comes from discretionary spending. It is also a priority of his for residents to live in a safe town free of hatred and unnecessary, inflammatory language against anyone. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in Alaska, playing out at open-mic nights and during market hours, he can be found Options trading by selling - NOT buying - covered calls or cash-secured puts (huge difference). He passed the FINRA SIE (topics covered by the exam include Knowlege of Capital Markets, Understanding Products and Their Risks, Understanding Trading, Customer Accounts and Prohibited Activities, and Overview of Regulatory Framework). His favorite movies are Office Space, Idiocracy and Tin Cup while he primarily listens to country music and likes almost all genres. |
